Valentine you're a GEM!

I was so inspired by Darcy Miller of Martha Stewart Weddings when I saw the unbelievable candy bridal shower she did for Dylan Lauren.

 I especially loved the favors!

Really? How cute is that! So I thought I'd create my own version, one that doesn't require as much work. The catch is, my version was so much more work than if I'd just have looked for the same boxes online! But then I wouldn't have been able to demonstrate to my daughter that yes, you use fractions even when crafting! Mine turned out pretty cute though, don't you think? Dressed up Ring Pops for Valentine's Day!

I wound up finding wedding favor boxes from Michaels, the little clear boxes always stuffed with Jordan Almonds! I did love the way the ring was "set" into the box, that's where the math came in. I measured, cut and scored to create the base.

I also created a little PDF of the round tags, they fit perfectly in a 1 3/8 inch circle punch!

You can purchase them in my ETSY shop

Happy Crafting!
